Identify a Pool Cue Signed by Doughty with Cobra
I have a pool cue signed by "Doughty". It has a Cobra on it.
How do I find out the identity of this cue?

The best way for us to help you identify the Doughty pool cue is for you to upload a few pictures.
BUT, without seeing it, I would guess that you have a McDermott EL6 cue.
An artist named Terry Doughty, a Wisconsin native, did some artwork for a series of pool cues by McDermott, but hard to know for sure without seeing a picture.
It is probably the McDermott EL6 (McDermott E-L6) pool cue from the McDermott "E-L Series" launched in 1990 and retired in 1995. Retailed for $215 and worth about the same now in mint condition. Is this the cue you have?
This one was listed on eBay in 2016 for $154.
McDermott pool cue Retired E-L6 ( SNAKE PATTERN ) - Here is a beautiful McDermott E Series L6 Snake pattern sign by Doughty and yes it has been retired, MFD 1995-1995 the cue is in excellent shape and ready to played with it still has a blue book value of 215.00.
It didn't sell though.

I bought this McDermott Doughty cobra snake pool cue over 15 years ago for $5.
Just was wondering what the history on it may be.

All of the info is posted in the thread above. What specifically do you want to know about the McDermott cue?
Yours just has a different wood/stain combination, which, with McDermott cues, are all 100% configurable when you order a cue.
Cool find though. It's in really nice shape.
