ID Custom Pool Cue with "EW 2006"
I’ve spent two hours researching this cue to no avail.
I have owned and currently own way more than my fair share of high-end cues. This one is a complete mystery. Some people are telling me it’s a Eurowest, but as far as I know, all Eurowests have the name spelled out across the butt.
The signature says in capital letters **EW 2006**
.
My assumption is that means the model year is 2006 but who the hell is EW
?
It hits like a 2nd generation Joss cue or a Predator cue (softish and solid) and it’s extremely well made.

I've been told that it could be an Eddie Wheat custom cue.
He's a controversial dude, but apparently made a well playing cue.
I don't know if this info is still good, but here's the Eddie Wheat contact info I had:

Eddie Wheat was an early thought on this cue. I sent Eddie a PM on Facebook and he got right back to me. He said it was not his cue, and that all of his cues are signed "Wheat [YEAR]".
Eddie also said:
"There are so many cue makers that it's hard to keep track anymore."
This cue is a total mystery.
Are ALL Eurowest cues labeled across the but cap?

As far as I am aware, yes, Eurowest cues would all have the proper logo on the butt cap, but I could be wrong. I have not confirmed this with any credible source.
I'll continue to keep my eyes peeled for you on this one.
If you find out before you hear back from me, please let us know.
