ID Black Meucci Cue with Mother of Pearl Inlays

I have this black Meucci pool cue with mother of pearl inlays. I purchased it with my dad, and I am looking to learn more about the pool cue.

The guy thought it was bought in the 1980's.

    It definitely isn't from the 1980s.

    The black Meucci with the white butt cap is either:

    • a Meucci 95-17 from the Meucci 95 Series (circa 1995-1997)
    • a Meucci OL-1 from the Meucci Oldies Series (circa later than 1997)

    99% sure it's from the 95 series. But either way, they are pretty much identical cues regardless. No difference in value between the two.

    They sell for between $200 and $400 varying on market conditions, and the condition of the pool cue.

    Thanks for the info. I looked through the meucci archive on Budget cues and found mine. OL-1 Oldie. First cue and I've had a great time shooting with it.

    Great! How do you figure it's an Oldie #1 vs. a 95-17?

    I don't know if any way to tell unless you know when it was bought or have an original sales receipt or something.

    Thanks for pointing this out. I looked more closely at the 95-17 vs. Ol-1. Noticed the 95 had the two bands at joint, same as mine. Looks like it's a 95 after all. Really appreciate the help.

    Nice... I am not seeing the "two bands" in your photos... can you take a closer photo so I can see what you mean?

    The two narrow bands don't appear to be on the ol, but looks like the 95's have them

    I see them in the Meucci Oldies brochure exactly as they are on the Meucci 95-Series brochure:
