Help Identifying an Unknown Meucci Original
I bought this Meucci cue a few months back. I love it to death, but don't know anything about it.
A reputable source says that it contains ivory, "birds-eye maple", it has no points, is really old, and is pretty, but he couldn't tell me much more than that.
Please look it over and let me know. I am looking for a year (the Meucci Originals block stamp puts it pre-1985) but I just want to know model, exact year, and maybe price.

Meucci didn't use Ivory in that era so that isn't ivory.
In the Blue Book of cues, 2nd edition, page 358, there are two pictured that look like your cue. The photos are a little blurry to tell for certain.
One is listed as a level 2 Meucci MO-2 from 1975.
- New it was $70
- 98% $250
- 90% $200
- 70% $145
The other is listed as a level 3 Meucci MO-3 from 1975. The difference is that this one is supposed to have white rings with black squares in it.
- New it was $90
- 98% $300
- 90% $240
- 70% $175
It also says that these cues had flat faced implex joints.
Meucci's finish has always yellowed like yours appears to have done. I've refinished several, and it's amazing how good they look underneath all that yellow.

Close, but that's not what it is.
Your cue is a Meucci ST-3 cue aka Meucci "Low End" Starter from the "Meucci ST Series" aka "Meucci Starter Collection". They are the same series, just different editions. They were released in the early 1980s.
See the Meucci ST Series brochure, and your Meucci ST-3 is in the middle:
