cue help please

cue help please

Any help would be great. My friend just this cue her grandfather owned and has no idea of the maker of it. Neither do i. It has the symbol of 2 D's(one d on top of the other)and a crown in the top D. This is the only marking on the cue. Id upload a pic but it wont let me right now.
