Cue help

I bought this cue and it says Sampaio on it. Does anyone know if this is a good cue or anything about it?

This Sampaio cue looks like their 1964 model "The Apex", original price $28 but according to Blue Book of PoolCues, 3rd edition, page 688, it has value from $175 to $375 depending on condition. Sampaio manufactued cues in Lisbon, Portugal from 1880 to 1970s.
