How to Play Pool with 13 Skittles and Peas 1-16?

I read the skittles pool rules here, and the info on billiard skittles here, but the skittle billiards game I used to play was with 13 skittles (three of them being black), and peas numbered from 1 to 16.

I have managed to get a full set of wooden skittles and peas in their original box but unfortunately the set didn't come with rules.

Can you help me?
