Easily 9.5/10 condition, got it in on trade, described as "test hit", so it's used. I am not open to trades unless you have a BMC Casino #4 or #8, or a Meucci Gambler #2 or #3 with some cash. The butt and forearm of this cue has a sleeve of grey stained maple. It is then inlaid with 12 absolutely brilliant blue genuine Paua Shell deep-recessed inlays and then an intricate scrimshaw design is added to further accent this stunning work of art. The wrap is a Urethane coated cream Irish Linen. It comes with the Everlock adjustable weight bolt system. Cue currently weighs 18oz, but is adjustable up to 21oz.

The main difference between this one and the standard Meucci 21-3 cue is that instead of a white imitation ivory forearm and butt sleeve, a smoke-stained / grey bridseye maple wood is used.
We first saw this cue on display in the Meucci booth at the 2018 Super Billiards Expo (Mid April, 2018).
More of these custom 21-3 cues were made in limited quantities around November 2018 and sold over the holiday season. The Pool Cue Shop (eBay seller thepoolcueshop) was one of the Meucci dealers selling this cue (see gallery below - they had two initially), and one was also seen for sale on Facebook.
As of late December 2019, the Meucci 21-3 smoke-stained birdseye maple cue is available to order through Budget Billiards and is featured on their website. Quantities are still unknown.

The new Meucci 21st Century cue #3 Birdseye comes with one of Meucci's unsurpassed 35-layer low-deflection Black Dot Bullseye laminated shafts. The Meucci shaft standard is 12.75 mm. Upon request, 12 mm - 14 mm is available.
The butt and forearm of this cue is manufactured with smoke-stained birdseye maple and is then inlaid with 12 absolutely brilliant blue genuine paua shell deep-recessed inlays and then an intricate scrimshaw design is added to further accent this stunning work of art.
There are four detailed white bands on the butt with 24 separate 1/32 x 1/32 square aluminum inlays in each one. That's 96 in the butt alone. The shaft carries an additional 24.
The wrap is a urethane-coated cream Irish linen. The Meucci 21st Century #3 smoke-stained birdseye cue comes with the Everlock adjustable weight bolt system.
