   Hi Cue-Shot and welcome to the forum.

   The entrance regulations differ slightly for each pool tournament depending on the body which sanctions each event. In general, you will be required to be a member of the billiard congress of america to enter most tournaments, and you must have played previously in a sanctioned league. Visit the "Requirements" section of the BCA website for more information on the divisions.

   The BCA also posts many upcoming events from across the country (including Vegas) and allow you to pose questions to the directors of the specific tournaments.
