My answer or comment to a question was deleted Why did this happen?
Why Are Some Answers Deleted?
An answer that does not fundamentally answer the question may be removed. This includes answers that are:
- less than a partial answer to the actual question
- solely commentary on the question or other answers
- "thanks!" or "me too!" responses
- essentially asking another, different question
- exact duplicates of other answers
- little more than a reference or link to an external site or an unsolicited advertisement
Additionally, any answer that accumulates enough offensive or spam flags will be automatically deleted.
