What Does "People Reached" Mean in my User Profile?
I’m new to this site and really like it. I think this is a good place for any kind of info about billiards.
My question is, what does the "people reached" value in my user profile page mean?
I see I have reached 100 people but I don't know what that means.
I have no idea on how to see replies to my posts or how to see people I have reached or what the reputation is. It says tap to get notifications but nothing happens. I have been on for over an hour and every time I go back to my profile the number of people I have reached goes up but I have no idea on how to use that.
I am confused. I know I’m not to savvy on this stuff but I can usually work though it. On this one I still have no idea how to use it.
If I can’t get help using this great site I’ll have to leave as I’m very confused. I can see every post and the replies to them, but I can't find my own posts.
"People I’ve reached"... great. I can’t see any of them. My "reputation" is now two... great. I Can't see what the hell that is either.
This place is beyond confusing (or I’m just a dumb ass old guy). WTF.

"People reached" is the estimated number of times people viewed your helpful posts (based on page views of your questions, and questions where you wrote highly-ranked answers).
For example, if you write a question which generates a lot of page views, your "people reached" number will be higher.
If you answer someone else's questions, views of those answers will also add to your "people reached" count.
Simply put, it's an estimate of the number of people looked at questions and answers that you contributed.
Hope this answer helps, and glad to have you as part of the community here.

Thanks for the info.
I now see that I have reached almost 400 people. Is that just other users going through profiles and reading them?
Because I too have done that.

Not quite. It has nothing to do with someone looking at your profile page. That is simply where your number is displayed.
The "people reached" number on your profile page will increase as more people view:
- your questions, or
- questions from others which you have answered (you've not answered anyone else's questions yet - you you wouldn't have any from this reason), or
- your replies to the answers written by others
You have posted a good number of questions already (trying to ID various pool cues, etc) and folks are reading those questions, and your replies, etc.
