Can I attach a signature to my questions and answers?

The Billiards Forum does not support the use of free-form signature blocks.
Where have all the signatures gone?
You may have noticed that member signatures are now turned off on the billiards forum.
The reason for this is related to making the forum more user-friendly, easier to read, more spam-free, and more accurate for searching. Ultimately, the goal was improve the "signal to noise" ratio of the content on the page - making for a better reading experience. It is all about finding the information you need, easier and faster.
Ultimately, the practice of excluding signatures from topics and replies is quickly becoming a best-practice in forum and community design for exactly those reasons mentioned above.
All signatures have been preserved in other areas of the profile. For example, if the signature was a quote, it is now in the "Quotes" section. If the signature was your contact info, or biographical in nature, it was moved to the "Bio" section, etc. Other users can view this information by visiting the profile page of a given member.
