How do I add, change, remove, or upload a profile photo?
Edit My Profile Picture
Profile images (previously known as Billiards Forum avatars) are displayed in your profile, below your username on all posts that you make, in private messages you send, and in other areas where you contribute content. Profile images help add a visual cue to the content you provide and add context to what users are reading.
By default, the Billiards Forum uses Identicons from Gravatar ("globally recognized avatar"). Identicons are unique geometric patterns based on the user's email address or last known IP address.
As a Billiards Forum member with a registered account, you can change your profile photo at any time.
You can add or change your profile picture by clicking your profile link at the top right hand side of this page (when logged in). While viewing your profile, you will see a "Change picture" link on your current profile picture.
You will have four options to set your Billiards Forum profile picture:
- Upload a photo directly from your computer or device
- Link to a photo on the web by entering a URL
- Choose a photo that you have uploaded to the Billiards Forum in the past
- Use your Facebook or Google profile picture by logging in to Billiards Forum using these services (only if your profile picture is not currently set when first signing in using these services)
The standard pre-selected billiards avatars are no longer available.
Please note that when selecting a profile photo we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
- You must posses a license for any images you use as your Billiards Forum profile picture
- Profile photos must not contain offensive content.
Profile images which are deemed offensive or that violate copyright may be removed without notice.
You can report inappropriate or unlicensed profile images by contacting Billiards Forum moderators.
