Does the Billiards Forum make use of moderators to manage user submitted content?

Does the Site Use Moderators?

The Billiards Forum has a group of moderators comprised of volunteer members. These moderators have elevated permissions for managing user-submitted content. Moderator tasks include:

• Editing questions, answers, comments
• Removing spam, unwanted advertising, duplicate posts, etc.
• Reviewing flagged items in various queues, etc.
• Managing user accounts, such as merging duplicate accounts, deleting spam accounts, etc.
• Answering support questions

We typically post announcements when the site is in need of additional moderators, but at this time, we are not accepting any further applications.
