Billiard Room Design Tips
I came across an article outlining what one billiard hall kept in mind in designing their billiard rooms during a renovation. I thought that some of them would apply well to home billiard room design and were good tips that I used when planning my own room.
- You will want to physically separate the billiard table area from any other areas such as seating, tables, bars, other games, when designing your home billiard room.
- Although you'll want to keep it separate, as mentioned above, you will want to ensure adequate space for the seating. There is nothing worse than working around spectators when playing, or actually being a spectator and having to move constantly.
- The minimum distance from the edge of a billiard table from walls, furniture, and other items or fixtures should be a minimum of six feet. For more on billiard room size, see this article.
Thats it for now, Gotta run. Might add more later.
