Scratch on Final Ball in Cutthroat Pool on Coin-Op
What happens when you scratch on the final ball in cutthroat billiards?
I am looking for clarification on if it's a win or loss when a player scratches after pocketing the opponent's final ball in Cutthroat pool, on a coin op pool table.
My BF was pretty peeved when I questioned the win, and the previous question on the subject isn't quite clear to me.
This question relates to the following billiard rules:

The problem is that there isn't really an official sanctioning body for Cutthroat pool these days, and that is who would typically publish "the" rules.
So what we see is about 10,000 different variants popping up. It's one of those things you have to confirm before hand in most cases.
Because of that, most of the answers you'll get to a question like this always start with something like "...well the way we always play, it, the rule is as follows...".
Not sure if you saw the previous four questions along these same lines (you only mentioned one in your question). The first one might answer it for you.
