CB squirt contact on OB. Reaction of OB?
i am using backhand spin. by a 60-40 degree cut with inside or outside CB spin to the exact GB position, where does the OB go? with left spin to the right side of the pocket center and with right spin to the left side of the pocket center?
i need to know this cause i want to learn adjusting. i know the more english i use the more deflection will come. but is this rule true...left CB spin, OB goes to the right side of the pocket center and with right OB spin, CB goes to the left side of the pocket center?

Terminology correction:
- Throw is the extra angle imparted on the OB when struck with a side-spinning CB
- Squirt is the extra angle imparted on the CB when struck off center with a cue stick
- Swerve is the curvature of the CB due to a combination of side spin and forward/backwards spin
The surface friction of the balls in play changes the amount of throw. For example with a brand new set of balls, one can only get about 1/2-to-2/3 of a diamond of throw with the OB at center table and the CB on the head spot. When the balls are all worn out one can more than double the amount of throw. In addition, cleaning the balls will reduce throw.
Physics:
When a side spinning CB impacts a stationary OB, the OB is thrown off the line formed by the centers between the two balls. The OB is always thrown in the same direction as the spin at the contact point, as if the CB impacted the OB for a point opposite that of the spin at the contact point. During the instant of contact, the OB picks up some side spin of the opposite direction and will swerve off its original line to slightly decrease the amount of throw.
The instant tangent line always obeys conservation of momentum, so the CB comes off the contact point as if it hit the OB at the point defined by the line the OB departs from, back, forward or side spin will alter this but only after the CB starts out on this line.

How do i understand this? you mean this..."left CB spin, OB goes(thrown) to the right side of the pocket center and with right OB spin, CB goes(thrown) to the left side of the pocket center"?

When the front of the CB is spinning towards the left (counter clockwise as seen from above) the OB will be thrown towards the left (as seen from above) the CB will initially take the tangent line as if it hit the OB a little farther to the right than where you aimed.
In order to spin the CB so the face is spinning to the left, you hit the CB on the right hand side from behind.
