Top USA Pool Table Manufacturers

I've been shooting pool all my life but am for the first time am considering actually purchasing a pool table.

There's so much information (and apparently misinformation) out there it's mind boggling.

Can you suggest one or two domestic pool table manufacturers who make excellent pool tables?

I am looking for something that is solid wood without the designer frills, with good slate and rails.

Money isn't an issue, within reason.
