McIntire Brock Pool Table

I'm looking to buy a used pool table and someone has a McIntire Brock table for sale. Does anyone know anything about this table? The current owners don't have much information about it and my Google search didn't turn up anything.

Also, is there a way to measure the thickness of the slate without removing the felt?

   I own a Dynamo - McIntire Table made in Fort worth. Wonder if it's the same and Brock is the model?
