American Billiards vs. Vitale Pool Tables
Doing a little research on a billiard table purchase I'm considering.
Has anyone heard of this pool-table brand "American Billiards"? Are they reputable? I found an 8 ft pool table for 800 dollars and it has the rails with bolts running through the slate so i figure its a plus but just never heard of them. It looks to be a sturdy table from what I can tell.
I also can purchase a new Vitale with lifetime warranty for 1300$ its more decorative. And again I've never heard of them either.
I'm really leaning towards the American Billiards brand. Any help is appreciated! I want to make sure that American Billiards isn't some fly by night brand that I would want to stay away from! I've been snookered before.
After some more research, "American Billiards" appears to be related somehow to "Global Billiards" which is apparently a division of Brunswick Billiards. After even more research, it looks like American Billiards is a subsidiary of Brunswick.
Any thoughts?

I ended up buying the American Billiards pool table and man this thing is built very heavy.
The only drawbacks are the one-piece slate and the auto ball return, but at 700 dollars I couldn't beat the price!
Thanks for helping me listen to myself.
