Shaft for a Meucci HP1 Pool Cue
I would like to get a new pool cue shaft in addition to what I have and I need help choosing one.
How do I know which shaft will fit my cue?
I have a Meucci HP1 cue from the early 1990s.
Is there a resource where I can learn how to navigate the market for a pool cue shaft and educate me on what parameters to look at, etc.?

I've just added an OB-2 shaft to one of my Joss cues, it is special construction with 11.5mm tip. I like it and I think you can find an OB-1 or OB-2 for a Meucci cue.

If your looking into getting a low deflection shaft I would go for an OB 1 OR 2 with your Meucci joint. If you want to go with a Predator 314-2 or Z-2, I have played with both, I prefer the OB shafts, The Predator is a fine shaft as well. If you know any of your friends might be using different shafts, play with one of theirs if it has a matching pin. Good luck with your search....
