Lucasi LD series

I've been playing pool on and off for a long time and just recently got serious about it. I joined up on 2 different league teams and I'm loving every minute of it.

Now I know experience level is helpful when you guys are helping people out, so just to get it out there I'm a 5, only play 8ball, and should be a 6 here shortly.

I have been playing with a $40 Players cue that has seen much better days. I break with it and play with it. Not warped, just loose weights, discolored, worn down looking. So I think I'm up to the skill level to warrant a new, under $200 stick.

And I've been looking at eithe rthe LD1 or LD2, depending upon which color I like more (b/c from what I see they are the same stick except for color) and the LD8. Only difference is the LD 1 and 2 are $130, while the LD8 is about $170.

But are there any major differences between the LD1 or LD2 and hte LD8? The specs they list do not appear differently. I've always heard good things about Lucasi cues and they seem good for the price.

Anything I should know before I make a purchase? I've also looked at the LET, and it looks pretty sweet.

Does it basically just come down to the one I like best visually? I mean performance would be similar I'd assume.
