A few miscellaneous notes on BMC Casino-8 cues:

• According to Cue & Barrel, the numbers were around the high teens or early twenties by August 2017.
• Not all BMC Casino 8 Spades cues are numbered. Some are signed and numbered, some are signed and dated (no number), and some are just signed (no date or number). This is typical of Meucci.
• Some folks have been calling this model the BMC Casino 8 "Yellowjacket" cue, no doubt in part due to it's yellow and black colors. This nick name seems to have originated from Cue and Barrel (a BMC dealer) who started calling it the "Yellowjacket" on their first eBay ads selling cue #02, and continued using this name through future sales of serials #04, #05, and #12, among others.
• There is a custom all-black BMC Casino 8 spades cue out there, where all of the white parts are made with black materials. It looks quite nice.

BMC Casino-8 Spades Cue, 250 units to be built

The new BMC Casino-8 cue in a spades card suit is the eighth release of one the most beautiful designs ever created by Bob Meucci. It has lots of bling which suggests the inside of a modern casino.

BMC Casino 8 Spades Pool Cue Specs
Bumper:	Meucci's standard black basic push-in rubber bumper
Butt Cap:	Meucci-style white synthetic butt cap
Butt Plate:	White composite butt plate
Butt Sleeve:	The butt sleeve consists of a four-card royal flush in the spades card suit, all laid over a 48-piece genuine paua shell sleeve trimmed with white composite on either side. Above and below this card sleeve are six deep inlaid paua shell dice with black numbering, bordered on either side by 24 1/32 x 1/16 rectangles. All is set in a black composite background. The 5 inch lines on the forearm butt up against 24 silver rectangles just above the wrap in a black ring.

Joint Collar:	Meucci-style white synthetic joint collars inlaid with 6 paua shell casino-type dice with black numbers, bordered on either side by silver rectangles. This design is repeated again in the shaft collar.

   I purchased BMC Casino 8 spades cue #1 in December 2015. The cost was $2600 including taxes.

   

   Here's the email from the dealer:

   Thanks Miguel,

   I will get this cue shipped out for you in the morning mail on it's way to the Global Processing Center at the Airport in Erlanger, Kentucky. This is a phenomenal cue and congratulations on getting the number 1 cue! That's just awesome!

   I'll also take it a step further and put it in a nice carrying case for good luck and best travels for shipping. I have a very nice Joe Porper case I can put it in that will protect it. I'll email you the tracking number later this evening.

   It's an awesome cue!

   Can you share a photo of the "#1" on the forearm?

   Also, would love to understand what you received for the $2600 - did that include extra shafts, shipping, cue case, etc?

   I don't personally have one of these cues, but everyone I talk to says the photos don't do the cues justice.
