Eastern Billiards has been the focus of the Lucchesi family for more than 60 years. Eastern Billiards first opened in the Boston area more than 35 years ago. Opened by Mr. Lucchesi Sr., who actually started in the business 1939. During his career, was president of The Bowling And Billiards Institute of America, The Billiard Congress of America and had installed tables for people like Art Carney, Paul Newman and Curt Gowdy. He even manufactured his own pool tables and used slate from his own mine in Italy. His legacy lives on with the skill, craftsmanship and ethics he handed down to his family. There are currently 3 generations of the Lucchesi family, active in the business throughout the north east and now in Florida. The Lucchesi family is well known and have been admired by industry leaders for many years.
