Crown Cues is a family business located in the rapidly growing city of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and run by Gene and Renee La Viness. Since the family doesn't have just one last name, they didnt name the business after the cuemaker, but rather, they decided to give it a name which described the cue design. Gene LaViness is the primary cuemaker behind Crown Cues, but there are other family members who may join the ranks in the future. Son Jim LaViness has made a few cues and joint protectors before he left for the Navy. Gene wanted his cues to look a little different, so he came up with the crown design when he first started building cues. In fact, the very first cues he ever made had a crown on them, and to date, all Crown Cues (except one) have the crown design somewhere on them.
