At Chilton Billiards of Wichita, KS, we carry pool tables that will fit into anyone's home. Brunswick, World of Leisure, Peter Vitalie, and Gandy make up our line of high quality pool tables. All of our pool tables have slate tops, and included with the table are accessories, lifetime guarantee, and free set up and delivery. Each table has different stain options; Peter Vitalie and World of Leisure will custom stain your table to match your wood work at home; also there are over thirty different colors of cloth that you can put on your pool table.
History of Chilton Billiards Kansas
In 1946, Stan Chilton established Chilton Vending and Billiards after returning from WWII. His business experienced rapid growth as Chilton Billiards became known for excellent service, honesty, and always using the latest cue sport equipment.
In 1998 the Chiltons divested the vending and amusement division of the company to a national publicly traded company, and continued to operate the billiards division. The Chilton Billiards retail store has received Brunswick Billiards' "Top 10 Dealer" award three times in recent years and numerous other awards for superior customer satisfaction.
In January of 2010, at 84 years of age, Stan Chilton sold Chilton Billiards to Chris Simons, a former employee and business entrepreneur. Earlier in his working career, Mr. Simons owned his own lawn care business and began working for Chilton Billiards doing deliveries and installations while he was in college. Simons eventually spun off his own business, "8 Ball Billiards Service", doing pool tablecloth recovers and other maintenance work on pool tables, many of which were referred to him by Chilton Billiards.
Chilton Billiards will continue to display the largest number of pool tables (45 +) and barstools (300) in South Central Kansas. They provide the same quality of game room and billiard products and service that has made Chilton Billiards the number one billiard and game room store in the area.
Mr. Simons plans to continue the tradition of high standards of excellent service, honesty, and products that Stan Chilton established in 1946.
