Is Chicago Billiard Museum open to the public?

I cannot find a phone number to call with questions, hours etc.

    Unfortunately, no.

Just as things were gaining momentum in terms of being open to the public, the main driving force behind the Chicago Billiard Museum, David Bond, passed away.

I have not heard any further news on the fate of his hordes of material and artifacts, other than the fact that some have since been returned to their owners who had loaned them out for display.

On that note, if you dig up any further info, please let us know.

Now that I ran across this Chicago Billiard Museum (CBM), I'm interested in seeing all this billiard paraphernalia.

Oddly I can't find an address where it's located. A Google Maps search of "CHICAGO BILLIARD MUSEUM" only displays the "CHICAGO BILLIARD CAFE" even when I enclose it with quotation marks.

    Does anyone know?

The man behind the collection, David Bond, passed away a number of years ago.

Before he died, he lived above the Lunar Brewery in Villa Park, IL, and apparently this was the location at which he planned to have his artifacts on display to the public, but he never got to that point as far as I know.

I've been unable to track down information on who and/or where all of the items and artifacts have gone. If anyone knows, please let us know below.

I'd be happy to put some time and funds into getting the site back online and running it, if anyone can track down the site's files. He had a lot of great info, photos, articles, newspaper clippings, etc. on that website.
