CueBuddy "Rolling Bridge" Cue Attachment

CueBuddy "Rolling Bridge" Cue Attachment

I have created a new pool cue attachment for young children (ages 6-12), called CueBuddy, that helps children play pool without having the dexterity to make a bridge with their forward hand.

The CueBuddy can be seen in action and purchased at cuebuddy.net. Think of it as a "rolling bridge" attachment for the pool cue.

  • If you're a pool hall owner and allow children in your establishment, the CueBuddy might be right for you. I would suggest you try a couple and then have some on-hand to sell to customers.
  • If you are a homeowner with a pool table and want to protect your pool table's surface while your children are learning how to play, the CueBuddy might be right for you. The CueBuddy is a great add-on for pool table owners with young children. Once the kids use it, you will see how positively they react. It also helps young children learn how to aim and learn the angles required for most shots, thus making it more enjoyable for them. The CueBuddy works best on shorter cues for children and it prevents scarring or scratching of pool surfaces.

This product also can assist people in wheelchairs or with disabilities who may be unable to perform two-handed shots across the middle of the pool table.

It has been successful in numerous restaurants and pool halls across the US.

  • Playing with 1 Hand: Young children lack the coordination and dexterity of using their second hand to act like a guide or bridge for normal shots. Letting the CueBuddy line up the shot allows the children to play using only one hand to "push" the pool cue cleanly into the cue ball.
  • Improved Reach: Children may struggle to reach certain shots on a standard pool table due to their height. A pool CueBuddy Stick Adapter can extend the balance of the cue allowing them to reach shots that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.
  • Learning Aid: CueBuddy can serve as a valuable teaching tool for billiard instructors working with young pool players. They can demonstrate proper aiming techniques and help children understand the mechanics and angles of a good shot.
  • Enhanced Control: By providing a stable platform for the cue, the CueBuddy can help children maintain better control over their shots. This can lead to improved accuracy and consistency as they develop their skills.
  • Increased Confidence: Being able to reach and control shots more effectively can boost a child’s confidence at the pool table. This confidence can translate to a greater enjoyment of the game and a willingness to practice and improve.
