Definition of Post Up

Post Up is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

When playing billiards for a significant amount of money, to post-up means having the players physically put the money on a table in order to both show that they actually have the cash, and to keep the losing player from running out the door without paying his or her losses to the winning billiards player.
