Homemade Diamond System on Pool Table
Check out this makeshift diamonds on this billiard table. The table clearly didn't have inlaid diamonds and the players wanted a diamond system for aiming purposes. Ask and ye shall receive. The owners of the billiard table used round bright yellow stickers and a measuring tape to make their own diamond system. You can do this quite easily. For the short ends, find the exact center between the two pockets. then measure from the center to the edge of the pocket. The middle of that will be your diamond point. For the long sides, measure from the center pocket to the end pocket using the edges of the pockets. The center of that will be the center diamond. Then affix two more diamonds between that spot and the two pockets. Repeat for all rails.

Sorry bud, but this is a Brunswick Gold Crown (I or II) pool table which most definitely does come with aiming markers built in.
I assume they put the big yellow stickers over them because the owner has poor vision, and not because the pool table didn't have them.
Actually, because of the curvature of the rails the Brunswick Gold Crown pool tables had round markers.

Agree; a Gold Crown, which is one of the best playing tables out there. Also, you can get diamond or round markers on most any brand table.
On another note, I really like this website. I'll be sending pics of my home billiard room soon.
