Dominant Eye and Shooting Pool

Dominant Eye and Shooting Pool
I have used all of the tools to check which is my dominant eye. Every test I have tried says that my right eye is dominant. I have been right handed for as long as I can remember.
Here's the thing. I have always really sucked at golf and pool. Recently I tried closing my right eye and using my left eye for aiming pool shots (still shooting right handed). This produced immediate positive results.
I marked spots on the table with blue painters tape, and logged accuracy. My shooting accuracy improved 200%.
So, if I shoot with my right eye closed my accuracy is best. If I use both eyes, or close left eye the results are the same dismal accuracy in my pool shots.
Does anyone have any ideas around aiming shots and closing one eye? Look forward to input.
The good news is my game improved IMMENSELY.

It is great you found a billiard shot aiming technique that gave you so much improvement so quickly. That is very rare, especially a 200% improvement in your shot-making abilities e.g. if you made 2 out of 10 shots before, you now make 6 out of 10 shots.
You should take a look if you are interested in the use of a dominant eye when aiming shots in billiards. I don't have much new to add that hasn't already been discussed in these topics:

My dominant eye is my right but the next time I get on the pool table I'll try using left eye and will be hoping for improvement.
