I and the players I play with lag the first game and it's winners choice. The next game the winner of the last game breaks. If it's a money game we lag for the break every game and it's still winners choice.

The person who makes the 14th ball of a rack gets to shoot at the 15th ball of the rack and at the same time, gets to give the new rack a whack.

When a player gets the 14th ball and next last ball it is time for a break.

A "game" of 14.1 runs to 150 potted balls A "rack" of 14.1 runs until the 14th ball is potted
Any new "game" of 14.1 begins with a lag and the winner has choice. Any new "rack" of 14.1 begins with the player who potted the 14th ball.
